SNOW!!!

We finally had a good snow this winter, and even more exciting is that Jacob LOVED it! Last year he was very hesitant about the white stuff and spent more time fussing and whining than he did having fun. What a difference a year makes! He had a blast running, jumping, crawling, and flopping around in the snow! He also loved sledding! Last winter we couldn't even convince him to sit on the sled. It was so fun to see him enjoying himself so much. He kept yelling, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Lydia even joined in the fun for a short time, but she was a little less excited about it!

After nap, Jacob helped me make homemade hot chocolate. It was his first time getting to drink such a treat! He thought adding a marshmallow was a
great idea. He kept saying, "I eating my coffee."

Daddy and Jacob played in the snow until dark! They thought it was really fun eat snow, as pictured below!

The snow kept coming overnight, so we were able to play in it again the next morning. It was a lot colder and the wind was very gusty, so we only stayed out for a little while. Jacob and I built a little snowman, did some sledding, and threw some snowballs.

We rounded out our "Snow Weekend" by making snow cream! It was a great weekend spent with our little family!
