Lydia is 7 Months Old!

Somehow 7 months have passed since Lydia joined our family. She is one happy, smiley baby! It was about this time last year that we found out we were having a girl!

At 7 Months, Lydia...

• Weighs about 15 pounds and 4ish ounces
• Measures about ? inches long
• Wears sizes 2 and 3 diapers and size 9 - 12 month clothes
• Started saying "Da," which is really exciting, because Jacob didn't say Da-da or Daddy until 18 months. He preferred "Scott."
• Continues to be super verbal and super loud about it! She has started putting different sounds together.
• Loves to chew on everything, but especially diapers!
• Sits steadily completely unassisted and hates to be put down on her back.
• Likes playing in her exersaucer and doorway jumper.
• Has started screaming and crying when something gets taken away from her (usually by Jacob).
• Loves everything we feed her! New foods this month include chicken, green beans, peaches, peas, apples, prunes, oatmeal, and carrots.
• Started waving (5/28)
• Started pushing herself backwards while sitting on her bottom. She made it across the kitchen floor doing this! (6/6)
• Cut her third tooth (top left central incisor)
• Loves her big brother. She follows his every move and lights up when he talks to/plays with her. She laughs and laughs at Daddy and Jacob.
• Hates having her arms put through sleeves and lets us know it!
• Can put her poppy in her mouth!
• Night time sleep is slightly better lately. I think teething is causing most of the trouble.
• Still smiles ALL the time!
