Happy 4th Birthday, Jacob!!!

Jacob turned FOUR on Wednesday, and we had so much fun celebrating him! He's been so excited about his birthday this year, and has patiently waited for his big day. Two of his best buddies, Kason and Zander, had birthdays in the weeks before his, so I think that increased his anticipation even more!

On Tuesday we celebrated with Jacob's class at school. He chose mini-chocolate cupcakes to share with his friends, as well as Mickey Mouse plates and hats. Lydia got to join in the fun, too, and was very excited to be hanging with the big kids!

I can't look at this picture without laughing! I told Jacob I wanted one last picture of him as a three year old. He was so excited when I told him he was going to four when he woke-up in the morning!

On Jacob's actual birthday, Wednesday, we enjoyed blueberry muffins for breakfast - of course Monkey and various dinosaur friends joined us, too. Then we picked up his cookie cake from Publix and had a nice relaxing (not!) lunch "Chick-a-lay."

It was so fun for Jacob to get birthday packages in the mail!

For dinner we had a little party with our family, MeMe, and Grandma & Grandaddy! Jacob loved having the attention of all 3 grandparents, as well as digging into his cookie cake and opening his presents!

Its hard to believe our sweet boy was so ever so tiny...

Watching him grow from an itty-bitty baby into the funny, imaginative, incredibly active little boy he is at four has been one the greatest joys of our lives. We love him more than we could ever express and are so excited to continue to love, guide, and watch him grow into the man God has planned for him to be! Happy FOUR years, Jacob! The best is yet to come!
