Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter celebration with just our little family! We decided to go to the Saturday evening service at church to avoid the huge crowd and traffic on Sunday morning. It worked out really well, and the kids did great! We even managed a decent family picture before we left! The only way we can get Jacob to cooperate is by putting him on someone's shoulders.

He wouldn't take a picture with Lydia, but she didn't let it bother her!

On Sunday morning there was lots of excitement over Easter baskets! Jacob kept taking candy from our baskets and putting it in his saying, "I just gonna put dis in my basket." He also kept looking outside for "the Easter bunnies" to arrive!

After a yummy breakfast we dyed Easter eggs and then had a hunt! Every time Jacob found an egg he re-hid it in the bushes in front of the house! He didn't quite go for the gathering concept, but he had lots of fun! He also hid eggs for Scott - all eight within 3 feet of each other!

I also snapped a picture of our first blooming tulip!

We finished out the day with a delicious dinner! When Jacob came to the table he said, "Oh! It's my birthday party!!!"
