Happy Birthday, Lydia!

Thursday, November 9th was all about our Birthday Girl!!! We decorated her door the night before, and she so excited to wake up to her pink and purple streamers. However, she was very hesitant to actually walk through them! We had to move them completely out of the way before she'd go through the door. Ha!

I made blueberry pancakes for breakfast. We sang "Happy Birthday" and let her blow out a candle, of course!

Unfortunately, the Birthday Girl was very grumpy on her special day and didn't want to take a picture with her very excited brother.

After we dropped Jacob off at school, we made a quick stop at Publix to pick up her cookie cake, and then headed to the Mountain Play Lodge for some birthday fun!

You can't tell by the expressions on her face in the pictures, but Lydia had so much fun climbing, sliding, crawling, and running around at the Play Lodge!!! She didn't want to leave and waved "bye" to everyone on the way out.

After nap, Aunt Ryan and Baby Wade arrived to celebrate with us!

I made pizza for dinner and everyone enjoyed the cookie cake afterwards!

Lydia opened her presents from Mama Dot, Aunt Sarah, Wade, and Zander & Maddox. She had lots of help from the boys.

We're still on the quest to get a picture of all three cousins looking at the camera at the same time!

We kept the celebration going on Friday morning when we all bundled up and headed to the Nature Center.

Wade decided he loved the cougars so much that he chucked his Wolfpack hat into their habitat! Thankfully, we were able to retrieve it without losing any appendages or limbs!

We had so much fun celebrating our big TWO year-old! At two years old, Lydia is already a strong girl who knows what she wants and what she doesn't and isn't afraid to let the world know! We love her more than we could ever express and look forward to another year full of adventures with our silly, sassy girl!
