Just like May, November is a big birthday month for us! I turned 34 on the 13th and my little family made me feel so special on my special day!
On my actual birthday, we had a special dinner at home with birthday cake and flowers. Jacob made me a card with all my favorite things on it. I plan on keeping it forever - so sweet! Earlier in the day I treated myself to a special Starbucks drink after dropping Lydia off and then a free birthday lunch at Asiana Grand Buffet. Its the little things! :)
A few days before my birthday, Meme made a delicious dinner and cake for me at her house. The kids brought some decorations and crowns for everyone! I think this might be my favorite birthday tradition. You just can't beat a home cooked meal by your Mama. It doesn't matter how old you are!
My sweet friend, Julie, took me out to dinner at White Duck Taco during my birthday week. Lydia was not happy about being left behind. She fell asleep in my bed waiting for me to get home. Julie and I forgot to take a picture, but we enjoyed great food and even better company. We never seem to run out of things to talk about!
Scott treated me to a day at Sensibilities Day Spa. He took a day off work and Grandma and Grandaddy stayed with the kids. Scott and I enjoyed massages and then a relaxing day at the pool before going to dinner that evening. It was so nice to hang out and relax with my love!
I am so grateful for my family, friends, and for simply another year with the ones I love so much!
