We have so much to be thankful for this year - good health, wonderful friends, and incredible family! I absolutely love Thanksgiving and love the little traditions our family has started over the years.
We have our own little family Thanksgiving feast the weekend before Thanksgiving Day. We keep it pretty simple, but its such a special night. We decorate the table and share all that we're thankful for while we eat. This year I made Cornish hens, green beans, mashed potatoes, cranberries, and rolls. And of course dessert - apple crisp!
Both kids had Thanksgiving celebrations at their schools. Lydia and I were able to join Jacob for his school holiday meal.
We went to a special Thanksgiving Themed story time at the library and along with making more fun turkey hats, Lydia saw her friend, Hannah from school.
On Thanksgiving Day we headed to Charlotte to celebrate with Wade and his family.
I brought crafts for the kids to do while the food was being prepped, which they loved. Aunt Ryan made them fancy cranberry drinks in fancy cups!
I loved getting to hold Baby Violet. She is such a little cuddle bug!
Meme got the kids matching Christmas jammies! These little elves are ready for the Christmas Season!
