Ever since Jacob's birthday in May, Lydia has been waiting for it to be her turn! She decided months ago that she wanted to have a princess party. I think Lydia's favorite present was holding her new cousin, Violet!
The birthday girl requested biscuits, cupcakes, goldfish, and popcorn for the party menu, so we did a biscuit bar like last year. We even made homemade apple butter from some of our Sky Top apples.
I always love making fun decorations for the kids' parties and I think the princess party might have been my favorite so far!
We made princess popcorn for the favor and displayed it with my mom's vintage Cinderella book. I remember reading this book as a little girl and being obsessed with the gorgeous illustrations. Lydia loves it now, too!
Cupcake Toppers!
Dress Banner - so much fun to make!
It was such a fun day celebrating her with our family and friends.
We set up a craft table in the garage. The kids made crowns with jewels, markers, and stickers. It was a big hit!
Lydia loved hearing everyone sing "Happy Birthday" to her, blowing out her candles, and eating her pink cupcake!
After cake, the kids took advantage of the nice weather and headed outside to play on the play set. Grandaddy was so happy to see everyone enjoying his hard work!
We finished out the party with presents for the birthday girl. She had lots of helpers!
We love our birthday princess so much and hope she had the best party ever!
