Spring has finally Sprung!

Its been a long, cold winter here in Fletcher, and we're so excited to finally have some spring weather. Flowers are blooming and we've been taking full advantage of the warm, sunny days!

It will still be a few weeks before we start our summer garden, but we've planted carrots, peas, romaine, and kale. The kids love "helping" and are so excited to check the progress of their vegetables each day.

Wade spent a day with us while Aunt Ryan visited a friend in the hospital. We did some errands while Jacob was at school and then had a picnic before nap. Even though Lydia and Wade are 6 months apart in age, they're pretty similar in size. A lot of people asked me if they were twins while we were out and about! I love watching these three play together!

Henderson County hosted a Kindergarten Readiness Rally this month. They had information about registration, games, free books and activities, and a real-live school bus! It was a really fun night and made Jacob even more excited about kindergarten.

Speaking of kindergarten, Jacob is registered and ready to go! He did such a great job at his screening and is so excited to become a Fletcher Fox in the fall!

Its hard to believe my little boy will be starting school in the fall. Lately he's been sneaking into our room to snuggle after we've put him to bed. Normally, we'd send him back to his room, but I've gone a little soft thinking about all the big changes ahead. I think I'll let him snuggle all he wants for now!

And check out Lydia's "pony," as she calls it! Her hair is getting longer and she's starting to let me fix it. I'm not really good at fixing hair, unfortunately for her, but I think she looks pretty cute!
